Backed by Textron Aviation’s global service network, local Australian teams bring OEM support directly to customers in the Asia-Pacific region
Aircraft throughout Australia and the broader Asia-Pacific region serve a wide range of missions, from connecting businesses and communities to transporting patients and carrying out government operations. With those missions taking place throughout a vast region, having reliable support close to where customers operate is an essential part of keeping them moving.
For Zaki Abu Ghazaleh, general manager of Australia Service Centers, that support starts with understanding the customer and bringing together the right people, tools and expertise. It’s a customer-focused approach that combines strong local relationships with Textron Aviation’s broader resources and experience.
Textron Aviation is continuing to strengthen its presence in Australia through investments in facilities and service capabilities. In 2026, the company opened its new purpose-built Melbourne Service Center at Essendon Fields Airport, more than doubling its previous footprint with expanded aircraft service space and an onsite parts stockroom. The facility joins company-owned service centers in Perth and the Gold Coast. The company also received Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) Part 145 approval for its Australian maintenance organization, marking an important milestone in the continued development of its Australian service network.
Those investments are backed by teams who know the region and the customers they serve. Textron Aviation’s Australian teams bring local knowledge and relationships, ongoing training and access to engineering and Customer Support resources across the company. Whether supporting scheduled inspections, AOG events or aircraft upgrades, they can draw on Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) expertise to help customers throughout the lifecycle of their aircraft.
