How do you take an already great aircraft and make it even better? That was the question owner/operator Marc Dulude was asked when he accepted a role on Textron Aviation’s Customer Advisory Board for the new Cessna Citation CJ3 Gen2.
Dulude was quite happy with his current CJ3-series aircraft, but quickly learned that Textron Aviation was serious about designing and creating the next generation of aircraft.
“You’re sitting around a table with all the right people from Textron Aviation that are listening; they’ve got the notebooks out,” Dulude said. “They’re trying to capture everything you’re saying, and you’re being asked, “so how do we make this airplane even better?”
The results are something that Dulude is pleased with. The new CJ3 Gen2 exceeded his expectations. The aircraft features enhancements to the cockpit and cabin, and it is considered Textron Aviation’s most comprehensive Gen2 product to date.
