Special edition “Speedster” paint and interior scheme unveiled for Beechcraft Baron and Bonanza products

Textron Aviation is introducing a special edition “Speedster” paint and interior scheme for its Beechcraft Baron and Bonanza piston aircraft. The special edition design, which is available for 2023 Baron G58 and Bonanza G36 orders, is inspired by former air racer Pat McEwen. 

McEwen’s red and white checkerboard paint scheme was a well-known sight at races where she competed throughout the country during the 1960s and 1970s, and was featured in the company’s 2021 announcement of a special edition 75th anniversary Bonanza. 

The new special edition Speedster models will feature the Radiant Red Pearl and Matterhorn White checkerboard exterior paint scheme, as well as subtle checkerboard touches throughout the interior that flawlessly balance a modern design with a vintage touch.
