Wichita Mayor Lily Wu joins representatives of Harlow Aerostructures and the U.S. Small Business Administration recognizing executive leadership team during National Small Business Week.
Harlow Aerostructures LLC, a Wichita-based aerospace supplier nominated by Textron Aviation Defense, has received the 2026 Kansas Small Business Persons of the Year award from the U.S. Small Business Administration.
Harlow Aerostructures’ executive leadership team was nominated for the award by Textron Aviation Defense. The SBA recognizes small businesses for performance, innovation, quality and growth. Harlow Aerostructures, based in Wichita, supplies aerospace components and services in support of Textron Aviation Defense.

On Tuesday, May 5, Wichita Mayor Lily Wu presented an SBA city proclamation recognizing National Small Business Week during the Wichita City Council meeting and acknowledged the Harlow Aerostructures executive team. The SBA formally presented the award May 7 at the Connect, Certify and Celebrate event at Wichita State University’s Hughes Metropolitan Complex.

Harlow Aerostructures, based in Wichita, Kansas, has supplied the defense and aerospace industry since 1954. The company makes complex machined components and electro-mechanical, mechanical and structural subassemblies for general aviation, commercial and defense programs, and it is certified by the U.S. Department of Transportation as an FAA repair station.
The recognition highlights Harlow Aerostructures' work in aerospace manufacturing and Textron Aviation Defense's support for small business suppliers.
