CJ3 Gen2 assemblers thrive on creating a product that exceeds customer expectations

As an electrical technician, Imelda Bennett plays a crucial role in the final assembly of the Cessna Citation CJ3 Gen2 line aircraft. Her expertise ensures that every electrical component is flawlessly integrated, guaranteeing the highest standards for our customers. It’s a commitment she has shared with her team members throughout her nearly 20 years with the company.

Customers have noticed that commitment, too. The CJ3-series aircraft has been one of the most popular aircraft in the Citation lineup since its inception 20 years ago. When the new CJ3 Gen2 was introduced at NBAA in October 2023, many customers credited quality as the reason it was their aircraft of choice. Bennett says that sort of feedback keeps her team motivated.

"It means a lot to hear customers say how much they like this aircraft,” she said. “We work very well together as a team, and I think it shows in the finished product."

For Imelda, building a quality aircraft goes beyond meeting industry standards. "It means that quality is important to us,” she said. “We are all willing to help each other in order to build a great aircraft. We do whatever it takes."

Beyond her technical expertise, Imelda cherishes the relationships she has built with her colleagues.

"I really enjoy the people,” she said. “All of us have worked together for a long time, and we know each other really well. It's nice to say that I like being here."
