NEWS BRIEF | Textron Aviation announces first European customer for Cessna Citation M2 Gen2

Textron Aviation today announced at the European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE) in Geneva, Switzerland, that Luxaviation Group is the first European customer for the Cessna Citation M2 Gen2 light jet. Luxaviation Group is one of the largest private aircraft operators in the world.

The Cessna Citation M2 Gen2 is designed and produced by Textron Aviation Inc., a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company.

“The addition of this new Cessna Citation M2 Gen2 will provide access to a new client base out of our Paris base where we offer FBO, aircraft charter and management,” said Karol Guérémy, managing director of Luxaviation France, based in Paris. “The Citation M2 Gen2 will be able to cover a large part of Western Europe, with its ability to land in restricted destinations, like London City or Cannes.”

Luxaviation is a longtime Textron Aviation customer. The company manages and charters more than 50 Textron Aviation products. The next generation of Citation jets will continue to land at Luxaviation as the company also selected a Citation CJ4 Gen2 to add to its European fleet.

The delivery of the M2 Gen2 to Luxaviation and European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) type certification are anticipated soon.
