Textron Aviation Inc., a Textron Inc. (NYSE:TXT) company, will be showcasing its range of business and general aviation aircraft solutions with a static exhibit at this year’s Asian Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (ABACE) April 16-18 at the Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport. With nearly 1,500 jet and turboprop aircraft positioned throughout the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, the company has delivered more aircraft to this part of the world than any other general aviation manufacturer.
Aircraft on display during the three-day event include the Cessna Citation Latitude midsize business jet, Cessna Citation XLS+ light midsize business jet and Beechcraft King Air 350i turboprop aircraft.
“Between our Beechcraft King Air and Cessna Caravan products, Textron Aviation represents roughly 80 percent of the turboprop fleet in China and the APAC region, so attendees will appreciate seeing our flagship turboprop aircraft – the King Air 350i – on display while also hearing the latest on our turboprop innovations coming to market,” said Kevin Wu, international vice president, Sales, Greater China and Mongolia region.
“Textron Aviation Citation jets represent more than 30 percent of the APAC fleet, and we’re excited to see that number grow as the Latitude continues to garner great interest throughout the region due to its unprecedented cabin comfort and low operating costs. Looking forward, the Citation Longitude will offer customers a remarkable cabin experience and a nearly 6,500 km range, connecting city pairs such as Beijing to Mumbai or Harbin to Singapore.”
At ABACE, the company is also highlighting its continued aftermarket support through its global service network. Textron Aviation operates a company-owned service facility and dedicated parts depot in Singapore. A team of expert service technicians is positioned throughout the Asia-Pacific region offering maintenance, inspections, parts, repairs, refurbishments and other specialized services. The company also has more than 30 authorized service facilities supporting the fleet of aircraft throughout the region.
Asia-Pacific customers needing airborne solutions for critical missions can also turn to Textron Aviation, which offers the broadest lineup of special mission configurations in the industry. Textron Aviation’s family of aircraft, including single and multi-engine pistons, turboprops and Citation jets, provide the high performance and flight characteristics required to fit mission profiles such as air ambulance, float operations, flight inspection, training and utility transport.
