Textron Aviation celebrates 10 years as one team, winning together

Today, our company is celebrating an important milestone – the 10th anniversary as Textron Aviation. On March 14, 2014, Beechcraft and Cessna joined forces and became a united team.  

At the time, the two legendary aviation manufacturers both held nearly a century of success as designers and creators of some of the most iconic aircraft in aviation history. Together, our Beechcraft, Cessna and Hawker brands represent more than half of all general aviation products produced in the world. 

Bringing the best in the industry together helped make us even stronger. Throughout the past 10 years, Textron Aviation has announced 19 new products, expanded its advanced manufacturing capabilities, grown its global support network and continued its emphasis on providing the best customer experience in the industry.  

While there has been much to celebrate, our focus remains on what’s next. The Beechcraft and Cessna names were founded by visionaries and innovators. We’re passionate about our products and the opportunities they bring, and we believe the best is yet to come. 

Congratulations to the entire Textron Aviation team on a decade of excellence together. We’re proudly shaping the way people fly today and tomorrow.
