Are you a local high school student? Would you be interested in learning more about cool career opportunities and get paid this summer?
Textron Aviation is proud to support the youth in our communities through exposure to the skills and experience needed for future career exploration and training. In collaboration with Workforce Alliance of South Central Kansas, Textron Aviation offers internships through the Youth Employment Project for local high school students to gain hands-on experience in the aviation industry.
High school students between ages 16 and 19 are now able to apply to participate in the 2022 summer high school internship program. The company hopes to expand the program to more than 150 high school interns throughout the summer. Interns receive the full internship experience, including orientation with parents and supervisor, a community service day and future employment opportunities. This paid, part-time internship program allows interns to experience departments throughout the organization for six weeks – from Monday, June 6 through Friday, July 15, 2022.
Applications are now open with a priority deadline of March 15; students can apply here: https://txtav.com/yep.
