Hawker Beechcraft Appoints West Coast Aircraft Maintenance as Authorized Service Center for Southern California

Hawker Beechcraft Corporation (HBC) today announced that Long Beach, Calif.-based West Coast Aircraft Maintenance, LLC (WCAM) has joined its worldwide network of authorized service centers. WCAM will focus on the Beechcraft Bonanza, Baron and King Air products, with limited Premier support.

“We have been loyal to the Beechcraft product for more than 21 years,” said Gary Standel, president of WCAM and West Coast Charters. “We are thrilled for the opportunity to widen our experience into the maintenance arena. This alliance will empower us to achieve even greater customer loyalty through our knowledge of the Beechcraft product line.”

Located at Daugherty Field (LGB), WCAM is a subsidiary of Santa Ana, Calif.-based West Coast Charters that was founded in 1987. It is a full-service repair station whose employees represent more than 200 years combined experience specializing in airframe maintenance, engine repair and avionics upgrades for a wide variety of today’s corporate and general aviation aircraft.

WCAM is a Class III, FAR Part 145 repair station that occupies more than 30,000 square feet of hangar space at LGB and 17,000 square feet of space at John Wayne Airport (SNA). The group has experience on most Beechcraft models. WCAM has performed major and minor inspections including:

Approved maintenance, avionic modifications and structural repairs

Engine overhaul management, hot section inspections and repairs

All Chapter V Inspections and complete Phase I – IV inspections

Pre-purchase evaluations, consulting, imports and exports
