First EASA-certified pistons to enter service in Poland and United Kingdom

Hawker Beechcraft Corporation (HBC) this week announced the delivery of three new Beechcraft Bonanza G36 aircraft to a customer in the United Kingdom and one Beechcraft Baron G58 to a customer in Poland. These will mark the first European Aviation Safety Authority (EASA) certified pistons to enter service in Europe.

“There has been great interest in Europe for the Baron G58 and Bonanza G36,” said Sean McGeough, vice president, International Sales. “We are pleased to make our first European deliveries of our upgraded piston products and look forward to more activity in this region of the world.”

A Baron G58 and Bonanza G36 are on display at this year’s European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (EBACE) in Geneva from May 12-14. The Baron G58 and Bonanza G36 are fully IFR equipped with Garmin G1000® avionics and GFC700™ integrated flight control systems. The Baron also features the new GWX 68 color weather radar and offers optional Jeppesen chart coverage for Europe and other worldwide regions.
