King Air 350ER to headline event with ISR capability, recent completion of first combat mission

Hawker Beechcraft Corporation (HBC) this week will tout its strength in the special mission and government business areas and highlight its flagship commercial product during this year’s Paris Air Show June 15-21 at Le Bourget Airport in France. HBC’s Paris Air Show 2009 exhibit will showcase the Beechcraft King Air 350ER and Hawker 4000.

The King Air series is the #1 turboprop lineup in the world. The King Air 350ER offers extended range, long endurance, and can be configured with a variety of intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities as well as air ambulance and other special-mission capabilities. HBC markets, produces and supports a whole range of special-mission aircraft for militaries and governments worldwide. The King Air 350ER recently made news with the completion of its inaugural combat mission in Iraq as part of the U.S. Air Force MC-12W fleet.

Winner of the prestigious 2008 Robb Report Best of the Best award, the Hawker 4000 is first in its class, first in the world and the most advanced business jet in the world based on its innovative composite construction. It is faster and delivers superior cruise and range performance than competitors like the Bombardier Challenger 300. The Hawker 4000 sets the standard for quality, performance and value in the super-midsize business jet class.

Also on display at HBC’s exhibit will be a mock-up of the newest member of its legendary family, the new Beechcraft Premier II light business jet. Evolving from the successful Premier IA – already the world’s biggest, fastest, most efficient and best supported light jet – the Premier II will feature higher cruise speeds, a 20 percent longer range with four passengers and an increased payload while still offering the largest cabin and most technologically advanced single-pilot business jet in the world.
