Hawker Beechcraft Launches Custom Flight Deck iPad® Promotion for Beechcraft Customers in North & South America

With the annual Sun ‘n Fun Fly-In underway, Hawker Beechcraft Corporation (HBC) today announced it is has launched a custom flight deck iPad® sales promotion for its Beechcraft line of turboprop and piston aircraft. Customers in North and South America who place an order for a Beechcraft King Air, Baron or Bonanza aircraft will receive free custom configured iPad/s bound in a stylized leather case. The custom flight deck iPad is paired with free one year subscriptions to two of the most powerful software applications designed specifically for pilots, ForeFlight Preflight Intelligence and Jeppesen Mobile TC.

Customers purchasing a Bonanza or Baron will receive one custom configured iPad paired with ForeFlight and Jeppesen software, while those purchasing a King Air model will receive two custom configured iPads with the software.

The ForeFlight Preflight Intelligence application is capable of displaying route information on a large selection of geo-referenced maps, and enables pilots to layer it with weather radar, satellite imagery, fuel prices, flight rules, winds, temperatures, dew point spreads, ceilings, sky coverage, lightning and more. The intuitive interface lets pilots tap their way to build routing information, drag it around weather and quickly build the safest route to fly a trip. ForeFlight also has the capability to show NOTAMs and TFRs, as well as a global airport/facility directory.

The Jeppesen’s Mobile TC application is a superior way to view, search and update Jeppesen terminal charts. The software offers fingertip access to arrival, departure and approach procedures, as well as chart change notifications and online updates. Charts are delivered in full-color, high-quality, vector-based data with amazing details and zoom capabilities.
