Hawker Beechcraft Corporation (HBC) today announced during the 2011 EAA AirVenture that it has formed an alliance with the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association Insurance Agency (AOPAIA) as the preferred insurance broker for its Beechcraft Baron and Bonanza products in the United States. AOPAIA will provide Beechcraft piston aircraft owners with advice on aviation insurance, and can source the coverage that will provide maximum value and protection.

“We are committed to supplying our piston owners with the highest quality of services available for their aircraft,” said Jim Holcombe, HBC vice president, Beechcraft Marketing. “The alliance with AOPAIA will provide them with the most qualified brokers in the business, and make the insurance process easier to navigate.”

The insurance specialists at AOPAIA are well acquainted with Beechcraft’s piston aircraft. They understand how pilot training, flight experience, and the type of flying that pilots do can affect the cost of insurance. AOPAIA offers customizable coverage with competitive rates based on factors such as aircraft-specific training, instrument rating, hangar storage and prior insurance claims.
