Hawker Beechcraft Corporation (HBC) today announced that the new Hawker 200 single-pilot business jet and Beechcraft King Air 250 will make their first appearances at the annual National Championship Air Races and Air Show, Sept. 14-18, at Stead Field in Reno, Nev. The Hawker 200 will be on display during the weekend, while the rest of the company’s lineup, featuring the Beechcraft Premier IA, Beechcraft King Air 350i, King Air 250 and Beechcraft Baron G58, will be at the company’s static display throughout the entire event.

“The Reno Air Races attract aviation enthusiasts, as well as serious aircraft owners and operators, who seek a broad range of quality and capability from Hawker Beechcraft products,” said Keith Nadolski, HBC president, Beechcraft Americas. “We are proud to introduce the Hawker 200 and the King Air 250 for the first time to this crowd, and expect them to attract significant attention throughout the show.”

Former NASA astronaut Captain Robert “Hoot” Gibson will once again fly the Beechcraft Premier IA, the world’s fastest single-pilot business jet, for several high-speed passes during the Air Show. HBC will also have Beechcraft apparel and merchandise available for purchase at its Hangar Store tent.

The company will feature the following products at the show:

Hawker 200 – With cruise speeds up to 473 knots, cruise altitudes up to 45,000 feet and a 1,500 nautical mile range with four passengers, the Hawker 200 can perform typical light jet missions while going faster, higher and farther and offering more comfort with its class-leading cabin diameter – all for a lower operating cost per mile and a lower purchase price than the competition. In addition to its new winglets, it features new powerful Williams International FJ44-3AP engines, a gross weight increase and a higher ceiling than its predecessor. It also includes a MultiScan Weather Radar, ADS-B Out capability, wireless database loading, and high reliability with a 400-hour inspection interval and 10-year composite airframe warranty.  Its high strength, state-of-the-art all-composite fuselage makes the Hawker 200 the most technologically advanced single-pilot business jet in the world.
