Textron Aviation names new 2023 Top Hawk participants

Textron Aviation today named five new participants to its 2023 Top Hawk program that places the world’s leading training aircraft, the Cessna Skyhawk, with top pilot training programs around the country, promoting general aviation and encouraging young people to pursue aviation as a career.

The 2023 Top Hawk participants are Yellow Jacket Flying Club, Utah State University, Flight Training Professionals, Great Basin Aviation and Anson Aviation.

As a Top Hawk participant, each organization receives a factory-new, custom-branded Cessna Skyhawk to use for the duration of the program for student pilot training and to promote pilot training at air shows, aviation contests and recruiting events.

Textron Aviation works with universities, training organizations and flight schools throughout the world, and the Top Hawk program plays a vital role in the initiative to support the advancement of general aviation and modernization of aircraft training fleets.

 

Since launching the program in 2015, Textron Aviation has placed 41 Cessna Skyhawks with participating Top Hawk organizations around the world, training more than 1,000 students to help fill the pipeline of skilled aviators.
